Apostle Vessel is a Christian woman who considers herself blessed, highly favored in the Kingdom and spoiled by The Father. She possesses many creative gifts, talents and abilities that she uses to edify the body of Christ, those in the community in which she lives and throughout the world. She is a much sought after speaker in both the secular and spiritual fields, where God uses her mightily to represent Him. Her life is such that you cannot divide it from the ministry, for ministry is her life. She has not only been called to the ministry, but has been sent by God himself. She carries the anointing of God’s Spirit and is academically prepared as well. Pastor Vessel functions in the position of Apostle, Pastor and Teacher, with a strong fervor for evangelism and that with a prophetic edge. She is the mother of one son, Antonyo Isby, who serves as percussionist and Audio Visual specialist at Way of Life Church International, a new congregation in Chicago, where Apostle Vessel serves as Founder and Pastor. Apostle Vessel served as founding pastor of an African Methodist Episcopal Church for (7) years and as its Connectional Director of Street Ministry for (4) . She lives to please God and makes herself available to her Lord at all times. She is the recipient of many awards and honors, the greatest being that she is a child of the King of kings.

Apostle Vessel received a B.A. in Communication from Rosary College, River Forest, IL, a Masters of Science in Human Service Administration from Spertus College, Chicago, IL. and a Master of Divinity from McCormick Theological Seminary, Chicago, IL. Pastor Vessel considers herself a life long learner. She is the founder and CEO of Family Academy (FAM-A), a human service organization designed to promote family values and keep families sailing. FAM-A provides parenting education, violence prevention training, community mentoring and services to assist families successfully make it through life. A special emphasis of FAM-A is incarcerated women and their children. She co-developed/directed the North Lawndale Symphony of Services through a Concert of Care, one of ten State of Illinois Birth-to-Three Networks. She’s a recent graduate of the Disney School of Customer Care and Certified Social Marketing Trainer from the University of Southern Florida.

Apostle Vessel is the founder of Co-Labourers With Christ, a twenty year old interdenominational ministry carved out of the heart of God, to evangelize the lost, unite the Body of Christ and provide extensive ministry in the context of the family; thereby building healthy families. For two decades she has been given the awesome privilege of leading this ministry. Through CLWC Pastor Vessel has established a children’s residential ministry center in Nyahururu, Kenya, East Africa. She will conduct her fifth and largest Missionary Journey in October of 2006.

Apostle Vessel’s training, nearly thirty years of professional service in the human service field, love for humanity and commitment to family wellness enable her to catapult people into their God given destinies and leadership roles. She is the first born of four children, has been in ministry for two and a half decades and lives her life by the 61st chapter of Isaiah, believing that ” The Spirit of the Lord is upon her, because He has anointed her to do the work of the ministry. Her purpose on earth is to employ and deploy people in ministry; the most important ministry being the family, with an emphasis on CHILDREN!

In 2003 the National Council of Negro Women warded her the prestigious “WOMAN MAKING HISTORY AWARD” and in 2004 Pyramid West honored her with the Prestigious “Ann M. Joyner Community Service Award!”
