MONTHLY REPORT FOR THE MONTH OF OCTOBER 2023

INTRODUCTION

Dear CLWC Brethren, it is with great gratitude that we pass our sincere greetings to you. We sincerely thank God for taking good care of each one of us through the month. It is our prayer we live in unity. We thank God as we present this progressive report this month.

The following activities took place during the month of September:

EDUCATION

In total, we have 55 children. Our children are fine and doing well. We thank the Lord for being faithful in providing for us. Our children ended this academic year 2023 very well. They are expected back to school on 8^th Jan 2024.

Early Childhood Education Development

We had 8 children at this level of education. The children did exams for the final third term of 2023. We thank God. 2 of our children will join grade one while 6 will still remain in ECED to finish their learning level in the nursery school.

Primary School

32 children are in primary school. Our children are at home for holiday. All of them did their end term exam at their different grades and class level. They performed well and achieved good marks which will shift to next grade or class.

At this level we had 5 children who were sitting for their National Exams this year. Two did  Kenya Certificate of Primary Education, while 3 was doing KPSEA (Kenya Primary School 

Education Assessment) 

Senior high school

We have 11 students in this level of education and currently they are at home after they did their end year exams and close the school for holiday.

At this level we have two students who are sitting for national exams. The exams will start on first week of November. We still encourage and pray for them as they are preparing to start their exams.

Vocational training

The two students Peter and Joshua came for their mid term break for one week and went back to training college.

University

We thank God that our two students are still in university and are doing well.

 Farming

Shamba

This has been amazing our vegetables, fruits, and potatoes are growing well. Our children and all of us work hard on the farm to ensure all our plantation is in good condition and growing well.

Cows

The animals are doing very well they are in good health we are getting milk for domestic use. We thank God.

Fellowship and Counselling

 Fellowship

In this we provide spiritual growth. We have seen them being prepared to worship and present themselves well.

Counselling

Counselling has helped our children. It is an achievement in this ministry. It has facilitated both child and parent to fed and experience bond again.

Health

This month we thank God for care and protection. All our children were in good health. We did not face any nagging challenges or experience our children complaining.

Rescue

We thank God we did not rescue any child over the month

 I- HELP

Throughout the month we received donations i.e., food staff. We thank God we held two successful partners visits. This month on 14^th of October and 20^th October, during the occasion our children interacted and mingled with new visitors as they shared experiences, talk, motivation. Our visitors also encouraged our young children. We enjoy the moment and we thank God for great memories. Through the month also Battalion captain is still training our boys at the centre every Saturday and this is a great achievement to our ministry. It has really helped young boys to grow spiritually and motivate career mentorship. 

CONCLUSION

In conclusion, we take this opportunity to thank our Apostle and C.L.W. C Brethren for the support you have given us. God bless you so much. Throughout the month our children have closed the school and most of them as achieved amazing results while at school. The academic calendar of the 2023 year ended successfully and we hope all our candidates who have done their national exam and those who will start next month will attain the best marks or grades.
