MONTHLY REPORT FOR THE MONTH OF  OCTOBER 2025

 

Introduction

We thank the Almighty God for enabling us to come this far. Receive greetings in the Mighty Name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Being in this family is an opportunity given by God. We thank the Lord as we present this report.

Activities of the Month

  1. Education

The total number of children are 47. 15 are girls while 32 are boys. All our children are fine in the Lord.

  • Nursery School

4 Children are at this level. They sat for the end of year exams and closed school for a 2 months holiday. One boy will be joining grade 1 come next year.

  • Primary School

21 pupils are at this level. They sat for end of year exams and as well closed for their 2 months holiday. Their results were pleasing where most of the pupils performed well. During the month six grade 6 pupils sat for their national exam KPSEA (Kenya Primary School Education Assessment). This happened at the last week of the month. The purpose of the exams is to determine how well students have mastered the knowledge and skills taught under CBC (Competence Based Curriculum) as well as it determines if they will go to the next level.

  • Junior School

8 Students are at this level. They sat for end of year exams and closed school for the 2 months holiday. Grade 9 pupils are continuing with their national exams KJSEA (Kenya Junior School Education Assessment) which will determine learners’ readiness for senior school that is Grade 10-12. It also guides in the placement of different pathways like sport, arts and social sciences.

  • High School

8 students are at this level. 2 students are sitting for Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) this year. The other six students sat for their end of year exams and closed school for the 2 months holiday while the two were left at school to prepare for their national exams which will start next month.

  • Special school

We have two pupils currently at this level. They closed school at the last week of this month for a period of 2 months holiday period.

  • Resident

We have one boy residing at the center still waiting to join polytechnic come next year 2026

  • University

We have 3 students at university. Currently they are at campus continuing with their studies. We thank God one boy is graduating on 7th  November 2025

 

  1. FARMING

    • Shamba

We are still working on our farm to plant vegetables and potatoes. We thank God for plenty of rain we are experiencing at this moment.

  • Animals

Our cows are doing well. They are in good health. We still keep routine cleaning of cow shed and feeding them with Napier grass. We cut from our farm.

  1. Fellowship

It has encouraged our children in teamwork, empathy and kindness through activities like play, art and service. It also develops confidence and social skill.

  1. Guidance and counselling

It has created a safe and supportive environment where our children feel safe, heard, understood and accepted.

    • Re-integration

We did not re-integrate any child through the month

  • Rescue

We did not rescue any child through the month

  1. Health care

The month ended successfully without any of our children feeling sick. We thank God for protection.

 

  1. Mobilization and Awareness

We use community engagement to create Awareness and peach out the mass. Also, we still use churches, referrals, friends and I-HELP Committee members for approaching more individual and partners.

I HELP

On date 25th October 2025 we received a group of students from Laikipia University (Christian Union). They donated to us cloths,  food stuffs and prepared a delicious meal for the children. We also held a fellowship together where the comrades used the opportunity to preach, mentor and pray for the children.

CONCLUSION

We take this opportunity to thank our Apostle and CLWC Brethren for the support you have always given us. God bless you. Though the month has been very difficult because high cost of food we thank the Almighty for the provision.
