APOSTLE CAROLYN L. VESSEL
EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR

A Christian woman who considers herself blessed, highly favored in the Kingdom of God, and spoiled by The Father. She possesses many creative gifts, talents, and abilities to edify the body of Christ and those in the community in which she lives and serves throughout the world. She is blessed to be “Called out and chosen, separated from the separated.” She’s been afforded many opportunities to speak, teach, and preach, in both the secular and spiritual fields, where God uses her mightily to represent Him. Her life is such that you cannot divide it from the ministry, for ministry is her life. She has not only been called to the ministry but has been sent by God himself. She walks in the office of an Apostle, carries the anointing of God’s Holy Spirit and, as a life-long learner, is academically prepared as well.
Apostle Vessel flows in the five-fold governmental ministry, i.e., Apostle, Pastor, and Teacher, with a strong fervor for Evangelism and, that, with a prophetic edge. She is the mother of one son, Antonyo Isby, who serves as a Percussionist and Audio-Visual Specialist at Way of Life Church International (WOLCHI). WOLCHI is a twenty-seven (27) year old congregation on Chicago’s Westside where she serves as Founder and Pastor. She also served as the Founding Pastor of an African Methodist Episcopal Church for seven years and the Connectional Director of Street Ministry for the AME church for four years. She lives to please God and avails herself, to the Lord God Almighty, at all times. She is the recipient of many awards and honors. The greatest and most honorable is that of being a child of the King of Kings.
Apostle Vessel received a Bachelor of Arts in Communication Arts & Science from Rosary College, River Forest, IL, a Master of Science in Human Service Administration from Spertus College, Chicago, IL, and a Master of Divinity from McCormick Theological Seminary, Chicago, IL. She also received a Doctor of Ministry from Hope Bible School and Seminary. Apostle Vessel considers herself a lifelong learner. She is the founder and CEO of Family Academy (FAM-A), a Human Service Organization designed to promote family values and keep families sailing. FAM-A provides parenting education, violence prevention training, and community mentoring. The ultimate goal is to help families navigate successfully through life.
