IN HEAVEN’S EYES

My name is Chris Columbus, and I am proud to be part of the In Heaven’s Eyes family.
I came to In Heaven’s Eyes as a young boy, and from that moment, my life changed. I wasn’t just given support; I was given a family. CLWC gave me a safe home, education, faith, and most importantly, they taught me what love in action looks like. They taught me to work hard, to be disciplined, to believe in God, and to serve others with a compassionate heart. Those values have never left me.
Life after In Heaven’s Eyes has been a journey. Sometimes it’s been uphill, and sometimes it’s been smooth, but the foundation that CLWC built in me has carried me through it all.
Today, by God’s grace, I am a father to a handsome boy named Ace Columbus. Becoming Ace’s father has given me a whole new understanding of the love that was poured into me at In Heaven’s Eyes. I now truly understand what it meant for someone to care for me selflessly the way CLWC cared for me.
CLWC is my blueprint for raising Ace. I am raising him with the same love, faith, discipline, and kindness that I was raised with. I want him to know the God I came to know at In Heaven’s Eyes and to grow up knowing he should love and serve others.
That desire to serve is what led me to my calling. I now work in the nursing field, and I am also a plant operator, a certified lactation consultant, and a doula. I have the privilege of walking with mothers and newborns during their most vulnerable and most beautiful moments. To hold space for a mother and to support a new life coming into the world is sacred work. And it is work I learned to do by watching how I was cared for at CLWC.
To everyone who sponsored and supported me from childhood to today, thank you. You didn’t just support a child; you raised a man who now gets to care for others. You invested in a cycle of love that is now continuing through my son Ace and through every mother and baby I have the honor to serve.
I am forever grateful to be part of the In Heaven’s Eyes story. This is my story, but it is your story too.

My name is David Mwiti Kibui, my journey at in heavens eyes began in the year 2002, it is in this year that Mr. Benson our dad gave me an opportunityto join IHE and enrolled me to primary school. After completion of my seven years in primary school I joined the former IHE high school in 2010and graduated in the year 2013,it is at this year that I exited the IHE children’s home and went into the hustle world to make a living .
After several years of ups and downs I was able to enroll to a university undergraduate cause where I took an electrical and electronics engineering course which I completed and graduated in the year 2018 with adistinction.it was not an easy journey even after having all those certificates but due to hard work I found myself achieving bit by bit and when things got more harder I decided to apply for military job and glory to God that I finally secured a job at Kenya Airforce to date.
I want to take this opportunity by writing to thank our dear mum doc vessel for the kind gesture and support she gave to us and the entire co-laborers with Christ team not forgetting our beloved father and guardian Rev. Benson and his family, I wish there could be more I could do to appreciate your efforts to seeing the African child and in particularly the IHE children succeed , My our good LORD always come into your rescue whenever a need rise and may HE always reward you for your good work and kindness.
