I am the mother of five adult children. I have been working for Chicago Public Schools for almost 40 years. I started as a lunchroom attendant, and I worked my way up to become a high school manager. I attend Way of Life Church International, under the leadership of Apostle Carolyn Vessel.  I am over the Evangelism and Visitor’s ministry at Way of Life Church International.

My goals in life are to continue being a leader, to stay focused, and to be all that the Lord wants me to be. Also, I would like to be able to go to Africa and help with In Heaven’s Eyes.

My journey began with Co-Labourers With Christ and in Heavens’ Eyes Ministry in April 1995 when I started attending CLWC Bible Study. The first time I came, I really enjoyed myself. That day I gave my life to Christ. The services were held at Mount Sinai Hospital. The next month I didn’t come alone, I brought all five of my children with me. I was able to go to CLWC camp meeting the following month which was held at Camp Baber.  The first and second year I came by myself; after that I started bringing my children.

This journey has taken me into knowing more about Christ. I have grown since I’ve been in this ministry. I have become a partner of the ministry. While being a part of the ministry, I have become an adoptive parent of a young girl from the In Heaven’s Eyes Center, in Nyahururu Kenya, East Africa. Through this ministry, I was able to join Way of Life Church International.

I chose this journey because I really enjoyed that this ministry was not just about adults getting to know the Lord, it was more about the entire family being a part of the ministry.

I would like to thank you all for the In Heaven’s Eyes ministry. I thank Pat Okiki, a former member of this ministry, for bringing me to CLWC because this ministry has helped me to realize that life without the Lord is a struggle. I’m glad the Lord led me to fellowship with you all on April fool’s day in 1995. May God continue to bless this ministry.
