Hello, my name is Joseph Maina Mdumia, also known as Josmina Prince on all social media platforms. I was born in 1993, the second child in a family of four. I have two sisters and I am the father of one daughter, Peace Ariayna Muthoni, and husband to Naomi Wambui since 2018.

My journey with In Heaven’s Eyes began in 2006. I was known for having very bad behavior in our village. This led my mother to have a conversation, regarding enrollment at the Center, with Mr. Benson Maara. Because of my behavior, I made my mother the talk of the village. I stole from the villagers and spent time in the streets. This was not easy for my Mum. I was admitted into the IHE Center at the beginning of the year and, fortunately, was enrolled in Class 4 once school was back in session. I did well in class and my teachers loved my progress.

Later that year, I met with CLWC/USA at the opening and dedication of the In Heaven’s Eyes Center. During that visit, by the Missionaries, I saw and found love that had been lost and died in me and my life.

I performed my studies from 2006 to 2009. While in the third term of Class 7, I was blessed to get a sponsor who sponsored my Class 8 studies while living in a boarding school. One thing that I can’t forget is that, in the year 2008, I met my beloved mother, Carol Ward, who I loved from first sight though I was shy. During the Missionary visit in 2010, I was absent from the Center as I was preparing to sit for my primary school national exam.  During this period, my Mum was present, but I didn’t know.  After the results were compiled, I managed to achieve 321 marks out of 500. I later joined the In Heaven’s Eyes Legacy Academy, where I studied a total of four years until it was time to take my national exam. I received a grade of C-. While at IHE Legacy Academy, I was given leadership roles as Class Representative, School Captain, and Scout Commander. As a result of Mr. Benson taking us to leadership training seminars, I learned a lot about leadership. May God bless him, richly.

After receiving my K.C.S.E. (Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education), there was no money to further my studies as I had to give way for others to receive help. At first, I was employed in a hotel as a dishwasher and sometime served as a Waiter. Later, after some time, I quit that job for greener pastures.  I joined N.Y.S. (National Youth Service) for six months. After graduation, I said no to that kind of money and began using my talent as a Sign Writing Artist. While doing this, I met with a friend who motivated me to do painting and decoration which I found interesting, even until today. I ventured deep into it until I became a professional in the area of paint and painting. I have been doing research and training more people about what I do in life. Today I am an interior Designer as well as a Trainer.

I chose the journey of becoming an Interior Designer because I saw that it came natural to me. It was easy and, I realized, it is who I am. While growing up, I desired to become a Pilot but that wasn’t possible since my K.C.S.E. grade was low. Moreover, I wished to be a Fashion Designer and learn more about design.

My goals in life and ministry are that I want to be an instrument, a vessel and stream, to help solve people’s problems by equipping them with what it takes to live a positive life; a life living under GOD’s design and plan.

I take this opportunity to thank CLWC/USA for such a gesture of love to humanity.  As for me, I Bless the Almighty, for I have more than a family. In Heaven’s Eyes is my life. I would like to especially give thanks to our Mum, the Vision Founder of In Heaven’s Eyes, Apostle Dr. Carolyn Vessel. May the Almighty God bless you abundantly. To my Mum, Carol Ward, thank you for your continued support in prayers and love; God bless you and that Golden Heart.  Mr. Benson, the Director of In Heaven’s Eyes, God bless you for instilling leadership qualities and Christian doctrine and values in me and for being the pillar holding the light for In Heaven’s Eyes. Co-Labourers With Christ USA and Kenya, we love you so much. God’s Blessings to you all…
