Bishop Meshack William Mwangi

Bishop Meshack William Mwangi is the last born in a family of ten children.  He was raised in a Christian home and received Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior in 1994 while in high school.  He says that he is called to serve and to give hope to the world through the Gospel of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.  Bishop proudly proclaims he is the husband of one wife, Elizabeth, and that they have been BLESSED with four children:  Aaron Samwel, Keren Happuch, Zacharia and Emmanuel Lei.  All their children, except for the youngest, are currently in school.
One of Bishop’s goals in life is to have is strong relationship with his family that would make it a household of faith.  Furthermore, they want to teach their children to be self-driven and to depend upon the Lord now and in the future.   While accomplishing these particular goals, Bishop indicates that establishing a permanent source of income is: “a progressive goal for a father.”
As far as ministry goals, Bishop says that he desires to plant churches throughout different parts of Kenya, and the world at large, through evangelism.   At this time, they are in the process of establishing seven new church branches.   Three have been successfully established and they are looking forward to an additional five church branches prior to June, 2021.

Leadership

Bishop notes that growing and mentoring leaders, to become effective in the ministry, has been an ongoing task.  The ultimate goal is to ensure that the work of GOD is performed in an effective manner.   Establishing a training center for leaders has been another ministry goal that he hopes to achieve as time goes on.
When asked about his journey, as it relates to In Heaven’s Eyes, Bishop iterates that, through Pastor Benson Maara, he knew about the IHE Center and how he was feeding the street children during Christmas.  He said that he would join him at times because he loved what he was doing with the needy street children; however, he hadn’t visited the home yet.  One day Pastor Benson gave him an official invitation to attend a Leadership Forum, near their church in Nyahururu, that was being facilitated by the Missionaries of Co-Labourers With Christ Ministries in America.
Bishop describes that time of prayer by saying “As I prayed, GOD honored us with an open heaven and His presence filled the house.”  That was the beginning of his journey and divine connection with the In Heaven’s Eyes Center and the Co-Labourers With Christ Ministries in America.
After the Missionaries returned home, he received an email from the International Director, Apostle Carolyn Vessel, who invited him to become Chairman of the Board for the In Heaven’s Eyes Center.  Following time in prayer, he accepted.
Bishop Mwangi shared the following benefits of his journey with In Heaven’s Eyes and Co-Labourers With Christ Ministries in America:

    1. His passion to serve God, and to share His love with vulnerable children and people in all walks of life, has grown tremendously;
    2. They had a program in their church, to meet the needs of the orphaned children and needy families, which was doing very little. Today, through the motivation of working and serving on the IHE Board, he is reaching more needy cases within their society;
    3. He has learned that it’s their responsibility to protect and provide for vulnerable people in their society as they fulfill the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ;
    4. He is praying for God’s will to continue to help him give his best to IHE and to their society.

Bishop continues by saying that he has chosen this journey because it is more fulfilling for a person who wants to serve the purposes of GOD in his life.  Service to humanity is service to GOD…  and the journey continues.
Upon being asked what else he would like us to know, he says that he “would like to let everyone know that he loves the unity, humility, compassion, passionate generosity, kindness, fellowship, commitment, dedication and accountability, to mention a few, which I have witnessed in Co-Labourers With Christ Ministry in America.  What you have done at In Heaven’s Eyes Kenya will serve many generations to come.”
“Keep up the good work of Leadership, International Board Director, Apostle Carolyn Vessel.  You are equal to the task with your team.  Pastor Benson Maara, continue with the great work.  We are seeing change every day.  I have learned a lot in my life through CLWC and IHE.  I remain committed to serve as God will allow.  All things are possible to those who believe in GOD.”
